Before you start
You need a paid Zapier plan (Professional or higher). Webhooks by Zapier, the step that sends the lead, is not on the Free plan.
Steps use Zapier's Webhooks by Zapier step, which works after any trigger app.
Your Zapier lead URL
Your lead URL appears here when you open this page from the LeedsApp app: open the project, then Lead integrations and Zapier.
Set it up in Zapier
1
Create a ZapLog in at zapier.com, click + Create in the left sidebar and choose Zap workflows.
2
Pick where your leads come fromSearch for the app where your leads arrive (a form, ad or booking tool) and pick its event for a new lead or new entry. Connect your account in that app when Zapier asks.
3
Test the triggerOpen the Test tab and click Test trigger. Pick one lead and click Continue with selected record.
4
Add Webhooks by ZapierClick + to add an action. Search for Webhooks by Zapier, pick the event POST and click Continue.
5
Paste your LeedsApp URLSet Payload Type to JSON. In URL, paste the lead URL from this page.
6
Map the lead's detailsUnder Data, add four rows. Type the key on the left and pick the matching answer from your app on the right: name, phone, email and city.
7
Test and publishClick Test step. A reply with status 200 means LeedsApp got the lead. Then click Publish so the Zap stays on.
What LeedsApp saves
Zapier sendsSaved on the lead as
Lead source: Zapier. Use these four keys; LeedsApp also reads first_name + last_name and mobile. Every lead needs a name and a valid mobile number. Any other key you add is saved as a custom field. If the number is already a lead, LeedsApp adds this project to it.nameNamephoneMobile numberemailEmailcityCityany other key you addCustom fieldIf leads don't arrive
- Open Zap runs in Zapier and look at the Webhooks step. A 400 reply with insufficient-data means the name or the phone number was empty.
- Check Payload Type is JSON and the URL was pasted in full, including the part after ?.
- Check the Zap is published (switched on).
- A 400 reply saying The mobile number is not valid means the phone answer was not a real mobile number. Map the phone question, not another field.
