Every new WooCommerce order adds the buyer as a lead

Your WooCommerce lead URL

Your lead URL appears here when you open this page from the LeedsApp app: open the project, then Lead integrations and WooCommerce.

Set it up in WooCommerce

1
Open WebhooksIn WordPress go to WooCommerce › Settings › Advanced › Webhooks and click Add webhook.
2
Fill in the webhookType a Name (e.g. LeedsApp), set Status to Active, Topic to Order created, and paste your LeedsApp URL in Delivery URL. Leave Secret as it is.
3
Save and testClick Save webhook; WooCommerce sends a test ping at once. Place a test order and check the buyer in the project.

What LeedsApp saves

WooCommerce sendsSaved on the lead asbilling.first_name + last_nameNamebilling.phoneMobile numberbilling.emailEmailbilling.cityCitycustomer_noteNotesline_items[].nameCustom field
Lead source: WooCommerce. Choose topic Customer created instead if you only want new accounts.

If leads don't arrive

  • WooCommerce turns a webhook to Disabled after more than 5 failed sends in a row; set Status back to Active.
  • Make the billing phone field required at checkout. An order without a mobile number is skipped (LeedsApp still replies OK, so WooCommerce keeps the webhook on).
  • Orders placed before the webhook was added are not sent.
