You need a WATI account with your WhatsApp Business number connected.
Your WATI lead URL
Your lead URL appears here when you open this page from the LeedsApp app: open the project, then Lead integrations and WATI.
Set it up in WATI

Open WebhooksLog in at app.wati.io, open Connectors and then Webhooks in the top menu.

Add a webhookClick Add Webhook. Paste the lead URL from this page into URL and set Status to Enabled.

Pick the new contact eventTick the New Contact Message event. It is sent the first time someone who is not in your WATI contacts messages you.

Save and testClick Save. From a phone that has never messaged your number, send a WhatsApp message. The person shows in LeedsApp within a minute. (WATI's Trigger sample callback button only checks the URL; it does not add a real lead.)

- Test from a number that has never messaged you; the new contact event is not sent for people already in WATI contacts.
- Check the webhook's Status is Enabled.
- If you see no Webhooks under Connectors, ask WATI support to switch webhooks on for your account.
