Send leads from any app on Pabbly Connect to the project

Before you start

You need a Pabbly Connect account. Each lead sent uses tasks from your plan's monthly allowance.
Steps use Pabbly Connect's API by Pabbly step, which works after any trigger app.

Your Pabbly Connect lead URL

Your lead URL appears here when you open this page from the LeedsApp app: open the project, then Lead integrations and Pabbly Connect.

Set it up in Pabbly Connect

1
Create a workflowLog in at connect.pabbly.com, click Create Workflow and name it, for example Sunrise Interiors leads.
2
Set the triggerIn the Trigger step, choose the app where your leads arrive and its new-lead event. Connect it and bring in one test lead.
3
Add API by PabblyIn the Action step, choose the app API by Pabbly and the action event Execute API Request.
4
Set POST and the URLSet the method to POST, Payload Type to JSON and authentication to No Auth. Paste the lead URL from this page into the endpoint URL box.
5
Map the lead's detailsUnder Set Parameters, add four rows: name, phone, email and city. In each value box, pick the matching answer from the trigger step.
6
Test and switch onClick Save and Send Test Request. A reply with status 200 means LeedsApp got the lead. Make sure the workflow is switched on.

What LeedsApp saves

Pabbly Connect sendsSaved on the lead asnameNamephoneMobile numberemailEmailcityCityany other key you addCustom field
Lead source: Pabbly Connect. Use these four keys; LeedsApp also reads first_name + last_name and mobile. Every lead needs a name and a valid mobile number. Any other key you add is saved as a custom field. If the number is already a lead, LeedsApp adds this project to it.

If leads don't arrive

  • Open the workflow's Task History and check the API by Pabbly step's reply. 400 with insufficient-data means the name or phone was empty.
  • Check Payload Type is JSON, not FormData.
  • Check the workflow is switched on and your plan has tasks left this month.
  • A 400 reply saying The mobile number is not valid means the phone answer was not a real mobile number. Map the phone question, not another field.
