Every caller to your Knowlarity SuperReceptionist number becomes a lead

Before you start

You need a paid Zapier plan (Professional or higher; Webhooks by Zapier is not on the Free plan) and a Knowlarity SuperReceptionist number.
Steps use Zapier. Knowlarity has no setting to send calls to a URL you paste; its own CRM link (Streaming API) is switched on by Knowlarity only for CRMs that support it.

Your Knowlarity lead URL

Your lead URL appears here when you open this page from the LeedsApp app: open the project, then Lead integrations and Knowlarity.

Set it up in Knowlarity

1
Create a ZapLog in at zapier.com, click Create and choose Zaps.
2
Pick Super Receptionist as the triggerSearch for Super Receptionist (Knowlarity) and pick the event New Call Data Record. It fires when a call ends, answered or missed. Connect your Knowlarity account when asked and enter your SuperReceptionist number.
3
Test the triggerClick Test trigger. Zapier loads a recent call record so you can pick its details in the next steps. If none is found, make one test call to your number first.
4
Add Webhooks by ZapierClick + to add an action. Search for Webhooks by Zapier, pick the event POST and click Continue.
5
Paste your LeedsApp URLSet Payload Type to JSON. In URL, paste the lead URL from this page.
6
Map the lead's detailsUnder Data, add a row phone and pick the caller's number from the call record. You can also add call_status and pick the call status. LeedsApp uses the number as the name.
7
Test and publishClick Test step. A reply with status 200 means LeedsApp got the lead. Then click Publish so the Zap stays on.

What LeedsApp saves

Knowlarity sendsSaved on the lead asphoneMobile number(no name sent)Name: the caller's number until you rename the leadcall_statusCustom field
Lead source: Knowlarity. Knowlarity sends the caller's number, not a name. One number calling many times is saved once; if it is already a lead, LeedsApp adds this project to it.

If leads don't arrive

  • Open Zap runs in Zapier and look at the Webhooks step. A 400 reply means the phone was empty; pick the caller's number again in Data.
  • Check the SuperReceptionist number in the trigger is the one your callers dial.
  • Check the Zap is published (switched on).
