New WhatsApp contacts in Gallabox become leads in the project

Before you start

You need Gallabox's Essential or Advanced plan. Webhooks are not on Basic.

Your Gallabox lead URL

Your lead URL appears here when you open this page from the LeedsApp app: open the project, then Lead integrations and Gallabox.

Set it up in Gallabox

Open WebhooksLog in to Gallabox, open Settings and click Webhooks, then Add Webhook.

Paste the URLPaste your LeedsApp lead URL in Request URL and choose method POST. Leave Secret and Custom Headers empty.

Pick the eventUnder Events tick Contact.Created only, then click Save.

Test itMessage your WhatsApp number from a new phone, or add a test contact in Gallabox. It should appear in LeedsApp within seconds.

Lead source: Gallabox. One lead per new Gallabox contact. Contacts your team adds by hand or by import also count as new. A contact needs a name and a phone number to be saved.

If leads don't arrive

  • Contacts that already existed in Gallabox do not fire Contact.Created.
  • Open Settings → Webhooks and the Logs tab to see each delivery and its status (kept for 7 days).
  • If you set a Secret by mistake, leads still arrive; you can clear it.
