Before you start
You need AiSensy's chatbot Flow Builder (a paid add-on) with the API Request block, and a chatbot flow that runs when someone messages you.
Your AiSensy lead URL
Your lead URL appears here when you open this page from the LeedsApp app: open the project, then Lead integrations and AiSensy.
Set it up in AiSensy
1
Open Flow BuilderLog in to AiSensy and open Flow Builder. Open the flow that answers new chats, or click Create Flow to make one.
2
Add an API Request blockFrom the content blocks pick API Request and join it after your first reply message.
3
Set the method and URLPaste the lead URL from this page into the URL box and set the request type to POST. Under Headers add Content-Type with the value application/json.
4
Add the lead's detailsUnder JSON Raw Data, type the body below. $Name and $MobileNumber are AiSensy's built-in attributes; AiSensy fills them in for every chat. Type them exactly, with the capital letters.
5
Test and saveClick Test. A 200 reply means LeedsApp got it. Click Save, then make sure the flow is live for new chats.
What LeedsApp saves
AiSensy sendsSaved on the lead as
Lead source: AiSensy. The lead is saved when the chat reaches the API Request block. If the number is already a lead, LeedsApp adds this project to it.nameNamephoneMobile numberany other attribute you addCustom fieldIf leads don't arrive
- Click Test in the block and read LeedsApp's reply. 400 with insufficient-data means the name or phone attribute came out empty.
- Check the flow is live and starts for new chats; the block only runs when a chat reaches it.
- If you cannot find API Request in the content blocks, ask AiSensy whether your plan includes it.
