How it works
When someone submits your Google Ads lead form, Google sends their details to your webhook URL and the lead arrives in LeedsApp.
You need: a Google Ads account that can use lead form assets (good policy history, an eligible business category and a privacy policy link on the form). Lead forms work on Search, Performance Max, Video and Display campaigns.
Your webhook

leedsappconnect
Set it up in Google Ads
- 1Open your lead formIn Google Ads open the Campaigns menu › Assets. Choose Lead form in the list above the table, hover over your form and click the pencil icon.
- 2Turn on the webhookExpand Export leads from Google Ads, then Other data integration options. Under Webhook integration (optional), paste the webhook URL as the Webhook URL and type
leedsappconnectas the Key. - 3Ask for these fields in the formName · requiredPhone number · requiredEmail · optionalCity · optional
- 4Send test dataClick Send test data and wait for the green success message. Google sends a sample lead called FirstName LastName; delete it from the project afterwards.
- 5Save the formClick Save. Leads now go to LeedsApp as soon as someone submits the form.
If leads don't arrive
- Check the webhook URL was copied in full.
- Check the key is exactly leedsappconnect (small letters, no spaces).
- Every lead needs a name and a phone number; add both questions to the form. Work phone alone is not read as the mobile number.
- Use Send test data after any change to the URL or key, then Save.
